Conference excursion is planed for Wednesday, June 26th 2019.
There are two offered excursions described below. Participants will be able to choose the excursion and make the payment during the registration day at the conference. The price of excursion is not included in the registration fee and has to be covered by the participants.
1. Postojna cave and predjama castle
Postojna Cave is the best-known cave in the world. It is also the greatest tourist attraction in Slovenia and one of the world's largest karst monuments. A fantastic web of tunnels, passages, galleries and halls, the astonishing diversity of Karst features as well as easy access are certainly the main reasons for such popularity of the cave and a large number of visitors. It is approximately 100 kilometers away from Bled, or about 1h and 30 minutes drive by bus. Departure from Hotel Kompas will be at 13:30 sharp (be there earlier), and it is expected that participants will arrive back to Bled around 20:00.
Price: 65 Eur per person.
The price includes entrance fees, organized transport and guided tours.
The Vintgar Gorge or Bled Gorge is a 1.6-kilometer gorge in northwestern Slovenia in the municipalities of Gorje and Bled. Carved by the Radovna River, it is the continuation of the Radovna Valley. It is 4 kilometers away from Bled. Departure from Hotel Kompas will be at 13:30 sharp (be there earlier).
Price: 35 Eur per person.
