Description
Topological indices are numerical parameters of a graph which characterize its topology and are usually graph invariant. Topological indices are used for example
in the development of quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSARs) in which the biological activity or other properties of molecules are correlated with their
chemical structure.
The set of 148 discrete Adriatic indices has been defined in 2010. Most of the indices showed good predictive properties on the testing sets provided by
International Academy of Mathematical Chemistry. Twenty of them were selected as significant predictors. One such index is Inverse Sum Indeg index.
We establish extremal graphs with respect to Inverse Sum Indeg index among several graph classes.
