Description
How many ways are there to sort the numbers 1, ..., n so that the number i is not in the i-th place? How many ordered pairs from the integers are coprime? How many proper colorings are there of a graph that use only red, green, blue? I will explain how to view these and similar questions from the point of view of partially ordered sets and of topology.
