Generalized Stochastic Transportation Problems

Not scheduled

Description

Very often the amount of goods transported from supppliers to destination points change during the transportation process. We can model such situation using the generalized flows. On the other hand, the demand at the destination points is usually not deterministic, but given as a set of random variables. This leads us to the stochastic version of the problem. In the talk we will discuss various types of GSTP, namely the simplest model and some variants as bi-criteria GSTP, multicommodity GSTP and two-stage GSTP. We will also show how to solve the problems of each type with various versions of the Equalization Method.
